We were in town for a concert in St Louis and needed sustenance before heading back home. Our hotel was nearby so we decided to try The Shack. We wanted something somewhat traditional but with healthy and flavorful options. The fun environment and quirky menu names sold us. I tried the "Where does bacon come from?" sandwich, and it was SO GOOD. The aioli was chef's kiss. It provided a nice heat and flavor to balance out the avocado spread, bacon, and eggs. I loved that it was on a pretzel bun and although it wouldn't have been my first choice, I'm thankful they made it this way because it held the sandwich innards while balancing out the flavors nicely. Our waitress was wonderful. Attentive and friendly and genuine. Hands down, I would recommend trying it if you haven't.
Such a great place for breakfast of brunch! Very welcoming environment. We sat at the bar with Jess as our server. She is very attentive and polite. We will definitely be back again.
When to eat breakfast with my granddaughter and daughter-in-law a couple of weeks ago. I've never been there before but I thought we would try it. And the food is very good and so is the service. The prices aren't too expensive but you do get a lot of food. I will definitely be going back maybe to try the lunch menu.
Came here for breakfast with my friend and the staff was so incredibly nice and attentive plus place was very clean and welcoming now the food was amazing as well there’s just many amazing food options like protein pancakes to your normal biscuits and gravy they even have adult drinks for those starting their day off with a bang I am truly excited to come back and try more!
Great brunch place! So many menu options for everyone, kids, sweet tooth, vegetarian, meat lovers, the list goes on. The food came out quick and the staff was friendly. It's cool to sit there and look at all the writing on the walls while you eat!
Came here for our anniversary and was not disappointed. Emily was our serve and she was fantastic and so friendly! Our food came out incredibly fast when they were so busy and everything tasted amazing! Will definitely be back next time we are in town.
Stopped today for lunch. We have heard they have great food here. Was seated fast and server, Robbie took our order. He was friendly and advised well. Olivia at front desk was funny and had us laughing. Great place. Highly recommend.
